In the books, Peter Wiggin & his sister Valentine use the online pseudonyms Demosthenes & Locke to hide the fact that they were kids and ultimately change the course of history.General

I got my Cisco Aironet
I got my Cisco Aironet 350 card today & it took about 5 minutes to install it and get my G3 minitower online.
I’ve given my G3 a static IP address and set up port forwarding on my Airport base station, but it doesn’t look like I can access my G3 from outside. I can connect to http://10.0.1.201:81/ but http://blueg3.homeip.net:81/ doesn’t work.New "Rogue State" Must Be

My mom should be out
My mom should be out of the hospital in about a week, she’s doing better, but still has some trouble breathing.
I just got word that
I just got word that my mom is in the hospital with fluid in her lungs. She’s had to use oxygen at home for a while & she’s had a lot of trouble breathing for the last week, so she went to see the doctor today. He put her in the hospital right away.
She was a heavy smoker for most of her life, but she quit smoking over 10 years ago and hasn’t smoked since then. Her health has been poor for the last 5 years, since she developed Guillain-Barre, which she never fully recovered from. She now has to use a walker and has a nurse during the day when I’m not around. I moved to Florida when she got sick, so I could be available when she needed me.John Robb: "The RIAA, following

I think it’s time to rethink the RIAA, maybe even abolish it. It no longer serves the artists it claims to protect, now it seems to exist only for its own sake.
