The Kernel panics still persisted for the last few days, now at random times. I created this thread on Apple’s discussion board and found that several other people are having the same problem.
This morning I backed up my system to my 120G external drive, reformatted, did a CLEAN install of 10.2, and restored all of my applications & settings. I now have my system pretty much back to normal. I’ll see if it remains stable now.
I still haven’t reinstalled Fink & XDarwin, which I need to run SourceOffsite.
