Everything seems more or less back to normal. Today I drove out of here for the first time since the storm & everyone seems to have power. All of the traffic lights are working and most of the downed trees have been moved.
Jeanne didn’t last as long as Frances, but some of the wind gusts were stronger and we had more trees damaged. Some other buildings in the neighborhood lost power but it was restored pretty quickly. It seemed to be related to one downed tree a block away from me. We never lost power. The worst part lasted only a few hours and we didn’t have too many gusts of very strong wind. By Sunday morning it was over.
